Testing Process At JPBF

Insulation Resistance Test

Test is performed using a 1000V megger of 1000 Mega Ω range on the Insulation testing instrument, Insulation resistance is checked between phases, between phases and earth/enclosure, and between neutral and earth.

Secondary Injection Tests

Time delay characteristic is tested by simulation an overload or a fault condition. Test results are then measured and recorded depending on ambient conditions, and then the test data is compared with manufacture’s data.

Dielectric Test

Dielectric test is conducted by applying 2.5kV through the power circuit of the panel for 1 minute.

The required voltage is run through the panel test bench machine to ensure that it means the operational requirements.

A Multi-meter measures the power after and before the protection device.
